SEO 101 with BC Tech

Our Marketing Strategist Jane enjoyed a free seminar on SEO at the BC Tech Hub in East Van.

Last week Jane payed a visit to the BC Tech offices for a free lecture about Search Engine Optimization. It was great to meet all the fellow tech enthusiasts in the city and even some from out of town.

The topic of the lecture was SEO 101: What You Can Do With Little Time and Budget. We learned about: the advantages of uploading videos directly versus sharing them from YouTube, the importance of image descriptions, and the challenges of creating SEO for the "ask Siri and Alexa" era.

The offices were inspiring, with large windows lighting an open concept foyer and plenty of coffee and doughnuts to keep participants fuelled.
