AI Prototype to Production

You Built It With AI.
Now Make It Real.

Your prototype works. You built it with Claude, Cursor, Lovable, or Bolt, and it proves your idea better than any pitch deck could. But you know it is not ready for real users, real data, or real revenue. That is where we come in.

We work with prototypes built in Claude, Cursor, Lovable, Bolt, v0, and Replit.

The Situation You Are In

A prototype and a product are different things.

AI coding tools have changed who can build software. Domain experts, founders, and operators now create working prototypes in days without writing code themselves. This is a genuine breakthrough, and if you have done it, you are ahead of most of your competitors.

But AI-generated codebases typically share the same weaknesses: security gaps around authentication and data handling, architectures that cannot scale past the first hundred users, no test coverage, dependencies chosen by pattern-matching rather than judgment, and code no one on your team can confidently maintain or extend.

None of this means your prototype was a mistake. It means the prototype did its job. It validated the idea. The next job requires a different kind of work.

What We Do

From working prototype to production product.

1

Assess

Senior engineers run a technical audit of your codebase for security, architecture, scalability, and maintainability. You receive a clear written assessment you own, whatever you decide next.

2

Decide

We recommend one of three paths, with honest reasoning: harden what stands, rebuild on the blueprint, or a hybrid that keeps your momentum.

3

Engineer

Clean architecture, security hardening, automated testing, CI/CD, and monitoring. You stay close to the work through hands-on project management and a demo cadence.

4

Launch & Grow

We deploy to production, support the launch, and stay available for iteration, with the same AI-amplified speed you started with, on a foundation built to last.

Step 2, Honestly

Not every prototype needs a rebuild.

Path A

Harden

The foundation is sound. We fix security, add tests, and prepare your existing codebase for launch.

Path B

Rebuild on the Blueprint

The prototype is the specification. We re-engineer it cleanly, keeping everything you validated.

Path C

Hybrid

Parts survive, parts are rebuilt, sequenced so you keep shipping while the foundation improves.

Why Pieoneers

We use these tools ourselves.

AI fluency, daily

Our engineers work with Claude, Cursor, and agentic AI workflows every day. We know exactly what AI coding tools do well and where they fail. We treat your prototype as a validated specification, not a liability.

Senior engineers only

The judgment AI tools lack is the product we sell. Decades of production software experience across health tech, sports tech, education, and industrial operations.

We have done this before

We have taken over AI-built and legacy codebases, assessed them honestly, and delivered production systems clients run their businesses on.

Your expertise stays in charge

You know your industry. We make the technology match your knowledge. That is the partnership model behind every product we build.

Questions We Hear

Frequently asked questions

Will you tell me my prototype is garbage and I have to start over?

Only if it is true, and usually it is not. The prototype validated your idea, your workflows, and your interface. Even in a full rebuild, that validation is the most expensive part of product development, and you already have it.

How long does the assessment take?

Typically one to two weeks depending on the size of the codebase. You receive a written report and a working session to walk through it.

Can you work with what I built in my tool?

Yes. Claude, Cursor, Lovable, Bolt, v0, Replit, or hand-written code. The tool matters less than the code it produced, and we assess the code.

What does production-ready actually mean?

Secure authentication and data handling, an architecture that scales with your users, automated tests that protect against regressions, deployment infrastructure with monitoring, and code your future team can maintain. We define the specific bar for your product in the assessment.

Do I keep ownership of everything?

Yes. Your code, your infrastructure, your accounts, your product. Always.
